Bachelorette Party - Sea Ranch Lady Love

So thankful for my girlfriends who organized the perfect weekend in Sea Ranch for my bachelorette party.  Hike to the beach, delicious homemade meals, impromptu mani/pedis and pop music dance party were just some of the highlights of a fantastic weekend.  Now only 2 months 'til the wedding!

Big Sur

Another wonderful trip to one of my favorite places on earth.  Big Sur never ceases to leave me in awe, it's landscape is so magical and dramatic, yet the town is so understated and seemingly from another era. Weekends like these make me so happy to live in California.

Heath Summer Collection

Walked into Heath Ceramics this weekend and just about died when I saw this color combo for their Summer Collection.  Corals and sands and dusty roses  are the colors I also chose for my wedding, so it's only appropriate that I get them, yeah?

Acid Modernism

Looking forward to getting this issue on my doorstep tomorrow.  This house, designed by artist Doug Aitken, is INSANE.  And how spot-on is this wallpaper?  I mean, it takes the theory of seamlessness between indoor to outdoor space to a whole new level.

NEXT LEVEL, right?  Did I mention this house is one block from the Pacific Ocean?  Heaven.  Here's the whole article.

Happy Holidays, ya'll

Once again, heading up the 5 to the trifecta;  Sacramento - Nevada City - San Francisco for the holiday.  Excited to sit by the fire, take walks in the woods and play scrabble with the family.  And if you are not quite feeling the holiday spirit, I suggest that you watch this video.   Oh yeah, and this one.

This Thanksgiving so far - I've been to San Francisco, Sacramento, Denver & Nevada City - and am heading to West Palm Beach, FL tomorrow.  Thankful for warm homes to welcome me in each town.

Mt. Tam Wedding

Just got home from a wonderful love-fest of a weekend in Mt. Tamalpais for our dear friends Jason and Kate's wedding.  Being back in the bay after so long was absolutely refreshing, and being able to share this event with so many friends filled my heart with joy.  The wedding went off without a hitch, and between my fiancĂ© officiating and me in charge of decor, it was super fun to be so involved in the joining of two loved ones.  More beautiful photos to come...

California Marilyn

I am obsessed with this picture of Miss Monroe, all cozy on the beach.  The woman looks just as good fully clothed - and that sweater makes me excited for the fall weather I've been waiting for.

Big Sur, here we come.

Just bought tickets to see Bill Callahan at Henry Miller Library
this June in Big Sur.  Camping trip anyone?  Oh, and we'll most
definitely be hitting up heaven on earth that Saturday evening.
