General Store - Venice

If you're on the west side, be sure to check out General Store - it's one of my favorite SF stores that just opened an LA shop in a really beautiful space.  I scored a vintage denim jacket that is sure to become a staple.  Their stuff is so gorgeously curated here, you'll pretty much want one of EVERYTHING.

Dream Library

So, obviously, a few things need to line up in my life before I can have a home library like this dreamy den above - i.e. I need to get a house, and I need to be a multi-millionare (details) - but this interior makes me feel like dreaming BIG.  That bronze spiral staircase and black marble fireplace are KILLING ME.  Of course it's a Kelly Wearstler-designed home in Seattle.  I mean, look at the wallpaper in the Sitting Room.  Gorgeous.

Laura Schoorl NYFW

Yay for Laura Schoorl!  My lovely lady-friend has been all over the internets these days with her new shoes, bags, sweaters, etc. - even showing at New York Fashion Week with clothing designer Christine Alcalay.  Love seeing talented women finding success!

Married.

The lack of my presence on this blog has been due to the fact that I was busy getting married.  It's been crazy planning this thing, and then actually being there and having the wedding was just as overwhelming.  But at the end of the day, it was worth it all.  The stress, the nerves, the going over budget, the designing of the dress - it was all worth it, because (most) everyone we love was there it was simply the best weekend of my life.  I mean, look how happy I look...

 

This past week we have been decompressing, starting to plan our honeymoon (Kauai), changing our names, yada, yada, yada.  Feeling pretty lucky to officially be married to my best friend.

Summer's End

Bachelorette Party - Sea Ranch Lady Love

So thankful for my girlfriends who organized the perfect weekend in Sea Ranch for my bachelorette party.  Hike to the beach, delicious homemade meals, impromptu mani/pedis and pop music dance party were just some of the highlights of a fantastic weekend.  Now only 2 months 'til the wedding!

This Austin vacation home from Apartment Therapy has me wanting to decorate a small getaway home of my own!  Love the warm colors and woods, and also seems to accomplish a nice mix of old/worn and modern.
